Preparation of Photographic Emulsion

Mix emulsion (NTB-2, Kodak)
Preparation of Photographic Emulsion Mix emulsion (NTB-2, Kodak) 1:1 (V:V) with deionized water (118 ml:118 ml) Dip test slides 2x5 slides ea. to rid emulsion of air bubbles Dip experimental slides Remove counting to 10 Dry 10-1511 Put into dark slide box Developing photographic emulsions D 19 developer, 411 150C Stop bath 30 sec. (2 ml acetic acid to 300 ml dionized H20) Fixer 2 1/211 Rinse water Stain (as per Pam Cohen's In-Situ protocol) Developer (Kodak 156.57 gm/liter (warm tap water) Fixer: 90 gm Na thiosulphate (Sigma S8503) into 300 C.C. warm tap water
