Probe is end-labeled using TdT (BRL) Blots are prehybridized 2-4 h 420C 4x SSPE 50% formamide 5x Denhardt's 1% SDS 0.5 mg/ml salmon sperm DNA (heat denatured) 15% distilled water Blots are hybridized OIN at 370C 3x SSPE 50% formamide 10% dextran sulphate 5x Denhardt's 1% SDS 0.5 mg/ml salmon sperm DNA (heat denatured) containing oligo (106 counts/ml) Blots are washed lx SSC 0.5% SDS 37-650C, Blots are oppressed to photographic film (Kodak X-AR5 with an intensifying screen for several hours to several weeks
